Cooper Union.  A private institution, CU is notable for two things (in the main): 1) all students get a free ride (it is one of the most selective colleges in the US) and 2) Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous Cooper Union Address on slavery in the school’s Great Hall.  Since the Lincoln address there has been a tradition of presidents delivering historic speeches at the school.  This is a view of the south facade. New York City.
